Between the two COVID-19 waves and before winter sets in, we took the opportunity to take a little trip to the Vosges mountains.

In Faymont in Le Val-d'Ajol you can find the kitchen accessories store of the famous "De Buyer" brand. A short stop is always worthwhile, especially because many articles are not available or only with difficulty. And if at all, they are also much more expensive.

After that Gérardmer is not very far away, and in this area you will find the famous stores for linen like "Garnier-Thiebaut" and "Le Jacquard Français". Here you will also discover quality that is hard to get or at very overpriced prices.

Finally, a detour via Colmar, where a visit to the covered market built in 1865 is an absolute must. Traders display wonderful products such as meat, cheese and vegetables for sale.
