In 2016 I flew for one week to the Pacific coast to Los Angeles in California. When I arrived in LAX in late November, the weather was rainy. But already the next day it was nice again and with 15° C it was almost warm. An apartment at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Brea, North Orange County, served me as my contact office to Switzerland. For a week we commuted every day from Brea to work in Fullerton.

On Friday evening after work, we went to visit the Citadel Outlets. This outdoor shopping centre features a variety of popular brand-name outlet stores & restaurants. On Saturday, the day of our return flight, we enjoyed another excursion on the Orange Freeway, the Foothill Freeway to Pasadena and to Mount Wilson Observatory in best weather conditions. A photo below in the gallery shows the original chair of astronomer Edwin Hubble, with the 100-inch telescope of Mount Wilson. Edwin Hubble had proved the existence of distant galaxies.
