After the COVID-19 lock down, a wonderful journey through lavender fields, picturesque villages and beautiful coastal beaches like the Calanques between "Le Dramont" and "Théoule-sur-Mer" was on the agenda. The journey led us first through the Gorges Du Verdon until we reached Bauduen on the shore of the lake Saint-Croix. Then followed La Roquebrussanne, Camps-la-Source, Brignoles, Le Val, Carcès, Lorgues, Draguignan and on to Mougins in the Alpes-Maritimes.
From here we also visited Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo, Théoule-sur-Mer, the Calanques and all the way down towards Saint-Tropez and then back to Mougins.
The return trip led us successively to picturesque villages such as Fayence, Seillans, Bargemon, Callas, Draguignan, Flayosc, Salernes and further north via Manosque towards Nyons.
Among other things, we used the stop in Nyons to buy organic fruits like organic black cherries and apricots, which had ripened wonderfully in the sun.
Before we went back home, we made a short trip to Vaison-la-Romaine, Visan with the beautiful lavender fields and then to Orange.
