Sweet Home in 2013
Making our new house feel like home
2013 was a whirlwind for us, and honestly, it was all about making our new house feel like home. We dove headfirst into a mountain of maintenance work, tackling everything from repainting all the interior walls to sprucing up every nook and cranny. It was a labor of love, and while it was a bit chaotic at times, we had a blast turning our new space into something truly special. Each brushstroke and repair brought us closer to creating the cozy haven we envisioned, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.
Traveling in 2013
Switzerland
In 2013, we found ourselves soaking up the stunning beauty of Switzerland, and honestly, it turned out to be a year filled with unforgettable adventures! From exploring the charming streets of Fribourg to hiking up the trails of the Swiss Alps, every moment was a new discovery. We had the chance to indulge in delicious Swiss chocolate and cheese, and let’s not forget those cozy afternoons spent sipping hot cocoa by the lake. Even though our travels were limited to Switzerland, we embraced every bit of its rich culture.
Gardening in 2013

A little TLC

As we dive into 2013, it’s clear that our garden is calling for a little Tender Loving Care, but let’s be real - there are a few other things that need our attention first. Sure, those overgrown weeds and tired flowerbeds could use a rejuvenating treatment, but life has thrown us some curveballs that are taking precedence right now. Don’t worry, though! Once we tackle these pressing issues, we’ll be ready to roll up our sleeves and give our garden the love it deserves.
Sewing in 2013
New Curtains
In 2013, life got a little hectic, and let’s be honest - there just wasn’t a moment to spare for sewing those new curtains we had been dreaming about. We had all ideas ready to go, but between work, family, and a million other things, those curtains remained a project on the to-do list. So, while we don’t have any photos to share of our DIY adventure, we do have plenty of memories of the hustle and bustle that filled our days. Sometimes, it’s the stories behind the scenes that matter most.
