Le Chasseron, 1607m
The highest vantage point in the Vaud Jura. The Chasseron is a viewpoint with one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Alps. The panorama is more than 120 km large and on a clear day, in the distance the high peaks of the Alps rise majestically.
The mountain peak with multiple walking trails, long-range valley and water - lake views from the summit. The slopes around the Chasseron are steep to the north and gentle to the south. To the north you will find the fresh Val-de-Travers and to the south lies the plateau of the Jura mountains, which extends from Sainte-Croix to the Creux-du-Van.
