Israel - Jerusalem, Dead, Sea, Eilat, Timna Park, Mitzpe Ramon, Be’er Sheva
There is much discussion about Israel. We thought it would be best if we formed our own opinion. So we decided to visit this country too. - For the trip, we rented a car to be as independent as possible.
The second part of our journey took us from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea. Floating in the Dead Sea is such a unique experience; you float like a cork! Further south to Eilat where we spent a couple of days. We had a lovely visit to the Underwater Observatory Park in the Gulf of Aqaba. Then we headed north again to Timna Park with its huge red rocks. We continued for 150km across the Negev desert to Mitzpe Ramon and then from there via Be’er Sheva back to Tel Aviv. Before our flight back, we thought it would be lovely to pop back for another look at the beautiful city of Tel Aviv and explore the magical Carmel Market again.
