Operahuset Oslo, Norway
A new business trip brought me to Lillestrøm near Oslo in Norway.
I used the free time to visit the impressive opera house, among other interesting places. The Operahuset is located in the Bjørvika district of central Oslo, at the tip of the Oslofjord. It is clad in marble from Carrara, Italy, and white granite. The architecture is designed so that it appears to rise out of the water.

In the mid of October the days are already short and the midnight twilight makes itself well felt. The difference between daylight and night is slowly blurring. The windy and cool weather does not seem to make much of an impression on the Norwegian natives. The city is impressively rich in modern and classical culture. Modern and classical buildings form the core of the city.
