X, 2017 - New Kitchen
Enough is enough! Now we need a new kitchen!
The old kitchen is obsolete, dishwasher and cooking plates are slowly but steadily and part by part giving up their ghost.
We had considerable work ahead of us. In the first phase in October, we commenced by demolishing the existing kitchen to determine the precise dimensions of the appliances required. We intended to transition from the Swiss standard of 55 cm to the European standard of 60 cm. The order for the hob was also extended to 80 cm. Once these specifications had been clarified, we were able to order the new kitchen appliances. After an extensive time of investigation and comparison, we found a suitable model made of real ash wood.
We thought it would be a good idea to take a little break in Saint Lucia until everything arrived. Once we got back, we could start the second phase.
