Classic pleated trousers for men aren’t as popular these days and aren’t easily found. Christophe really likes the fit, but his favourite pair from Tortola BVI is getting worn out. I decided to reproduce one myself, adding an extra pleat for extra comfort. It’s made from 100 per cent cotton twill, just like his former one. Getting the back pockets right was a bit tricky at first. I selected a straightforward method from an online resource. I intend to experiment with other techniques by sewing two more trousers.
